Gurbaksh Singh himself was the victim of discrimination for several years. He immediately started an organization namly, “Be Proud foundation”, providing a platform for common people to unite together as a single community to eradicate the intimidating tumor. “We all are little different and we should be proud of what makes us unique”, he said. Many are persuaded by his Idea, including a great legion of Young Indians. The main purpose of the foundation is to raise the spirit of victims, who are shattered by hate crimes, ignite spark of love in them and most of all spreading the message of brotherhood and humanity. It is not for the betterment of any single community rather, it is greater than any religion, culture, nationality or appearance. The sole aim is to foster relationships amongst human being. The movement is currently scheduled to launch in the mid of September with television and social media component.
